Living surface 153m2, ideal for a group of 10 people, but can host up to 15 people: 5 bedrooms, 1 sofa cum bed for 2 people, living room with fire-place, well-equiped kitchen, 3 WC. Separate play corner for kids. Indoor sauna, traditional outdoor grillhouse and sauna with wooden sauna stove. Double carport with covered access to the cottage. Charging station for EV, bike washing point. Heated ski-wax-room. Spacious terrace. Fast glasfibre access.
Excellent location literally next to the illuminated cross-country skiing and mountain bike-track. Close to skibus-stop, the Ylläsjärvi ski-centre, restaurants, services and shops.

More information:
During Christmas and from February through the end of April, the shortest reservation period is one week. The changeover day is usually on Saturday. The booking of the cabin is more flexible during the rest of the year with a minimum rental time of usually three nights. Please contact us by email for long-term rental agreements.
About:
Milis Chalet Oy is a small family-owned business. The Brunner-family has its roots in Switzerland and Finland. We have wonderful memories of Ylläs from different holidays. As a tribute to his parents, Michael decided to build a traditional log cottage in Ylläsjärvi where people can gather with family and friends, because we think that is what really matters in life. We do hope that you will spend a great time and make wonderful memories in our chalet, too!

What our visitors say:
The cabin was beautiful and spacious enough for our group. The hiking trails started right next to the cabin. Both saunas were good, and the grill hut was spacious even for a large group. Since the weather was so warm, the cabin was a bit too hot. A screw had broken off the carport’s cable; we temporarily fixed it with tape. There were children’s socks in the bedroom closet, probably left by previous guests. There was an exercise roller under the sofa — not sure if it’s part of the furnishings. But we do recommend Milis Chalet to our friends!

We remember the ambiance, furnishings, location, and service most of all. An absolute highlight is the ingenious "warming cabinet" in the hallway for gloves, hats, etc. We've never seen anything like this before. Nothing needs to be improved if everything stays the same - it couldn't be better! Thanks also for the friendly, personal service.

The beautiful living room with its high windows and fireplace, the sauna, and the chalet's furnishings are truly idyllic. The chalet is also extremely well-equipped. Perhaps a system could be found in the kitchen to make it a bit more organized upon arrival (in the drawers). We spent a wonderful and relaxing week in your chalet; it was absolutely fantastic, thank you!

We spent a lovely week in Milis Chalet. We liked the outdoor sauna a lot! 🙂 One tip: now when there is no running water in the sauna, a bucket would be handy to carry water. And another thing that you should point out to all guests is that there has to be always water in the sauna stove tank. Thank you again! The cabin was so nice that we might come again! 🙂
