We only collect the personal information that is required to execute the rental process (offer, booking process, billing), to be able to communicate with you before, during and after the rental week as well as to fullfill legal requirements. We preserve personal information such as your name, phone number, residential and email address as well as the information requested by the Finnish law related to the passenger card.
We receive your data during the rental process, usually by email, through the contact form on Milis’ homepage or on the separate passenger card (PDF). We also collect your data if you voluntarily complete a customer survey, leave a comment on Milis’ homepage or register for Milis’ newsletter.
We use your data to execute the rental process, to be able to communicate with you before, during and after the rental week as well as to fullfill legal requirements. In addition, we use your data to improve our services and the customer experience as well as to develop our business.
We save your data as long as needed to accomplish the rental agreement, to maintain the mutual communication and to respect legal requirements. You can request at any time to remove your personal data, provided that this request is in accordance with existing domestic and European legislation.
Milis shares a set of cookies with Google Analytics to collect information and report site usage statistics without personally identifying individual visitors to Google. According to the Finnish law, the data of the passenger card of foreign residents has to be transmitted to the Finnish police. In addition, we transfer selected data to the key service and cleaning company to ensure frictionless service related to the arrival, the stay in the chalet and the departure. Finally, we share very limited data of the provisional booking confirmation with the accounting firm that is in charge of Milis’ accounting.
We save your data as long as needed to accomplish the rental agreement, to maintain the mutual communication and to respect legal requirements. According to the Finnish law, the data of the passenger card of Finnish residents has to be stored for the duration of at least 12 months.
